SERIES SS, BALL JOINTS, QUICK DISCONNECT, SPRING LOADED

Series SS BALL JOINTS are quick disconnect assemblies spring loaded with good wear characteristics.

Series SS BALL JOINTS use a retaining sleeve to insure proper alignment of the sleeve and ball cavity. When the spring is released, alignment is set, reducing the possibility of partial closure.

Series SS BALL JOINTS body and ball studs are low carbon steel. The ball studs are surface hardened for wear resistance. All components except the stainless steel spring are zinc dichromate treated.

Series SS BALL JOINTS ball cavity are packed with lubricant.

SERIES SC & SCS BALL JOINTS WITH A RETAINING CLIP QUICK DISCONNECT FEATURE

Series SC and SCS BALL JOINTS are a cost-effective design for applications where minimum weight is required. As part of a linkage assembly length adjustments are simplified by the disconnect feature.

Series SC and SCS BALL JOINTS hardened steel spring retaining clip accepts the ball stud member at 19 pounds maximum push-in load and permits removal of the ball stud with 14 pounds minimum pull-out load.

Series SC and SCS BALL JOINTS are made of low carbon steel and zinc dichromate treated. Both the ball stud and ball cavity are surface hardened for wear resistance. The retaining clip is heat treated spring steel and plated.
