Spherical Rod Ends & Bearings
Aetna Screw provides OEM's and distributors worldwide specializing in spherical rod ends, ball joints, and round bearings. Aetna's rod ends are constructed with a spherical 52100 bearing steel ball hard chrome, in a commercial 2-piece or precision 3-piece design. Aetna Screw concentrates on industrial applications with spherical rod ends designed and manufactured to various specifications, I.E. (SAE J1120).
Rod End Features
Aetna's rod ends are constructed of using designs of metal to metal, high-strength injection molded self-lubricating nylon raceway, PTFE lined raceways or bronze raceways. Aetna's rod end bodies are manufactured using 1045 steel. The spherical balls are manufactured using 52100 bearing steel and hard chrome plated. For additional protection, Aetna’s rod ends are ROHS Trivalent zinc plated and are available with a supplemental yellow dichromate coating. Some rod ends are available using high alloy steel and Phosphate coated or Black Zinc coated. Aetna’s spherical rod ends are available in right and left-hand threads in male and female design with and without studs. We also have the capabilities of producing left-hand threads and custom per print items and linkage assemblies upon request.
